You sent your life force into me to bond,
to intertwine, to fuse;
then you severed it.
Dragged it away like it wasn't connected.
Left a gaping hole where so many things seeped through:
My essence, my vulnerability, my love.
It spilled out and pooled at my feet.
Stagnant and rotting it tainted the source, billowing back into me as it had nowhere else to go. I ignored it but only left it to fester.
Soon, my entire being was spoiled bitter by your sudden release.
My energy dulled, lost its luster as it undertook a metamorphosis of negativity and pain, washed in hatred and regret.
The reminents of my wall, rapidly deteriorating as you continued to reveal your true self.....
